Title: TOMAHWAK1907 - Ban Appeal [DENIED]
Post by: TOMAHAWK1907 on June 28, 2020, 06:45:47 am
IGN: TOMAHAWK1907

Server: Vilous
Story: I was banned for the alleged use of xray hacking to obtain lapis but the evidence was circumstantial at best. I was banned for digging straight down and knowing what level lapis spawns at. I am innocent and have posted a picture of my mod folder as evidence.
Reason: I was already accused of hacking when I found diamonds at the bottom of a hole in /warp plains.  I explained the circumstances and the mod who questioned me seemed hostile when I did so.
Evidence: The mod who banned me was aggressive and seemed incapable of performing their duty in an unbaised manner. I have provided a picture of my mod folder in the attachments below.

We’ll look into the chat logs, but just sending a picture of a mod folder isn’t much prboof (https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Boof) of innocence

Considering lapis spawns at a wide variety of Y levels, Y=32>= to be exact, that’s not really a sound defense, and posting a pic of your mods folder isn’t either, posting a pic or the folder showing the last modification made to it would be, granted you posted a pic of the mods inside and what time it was taken at as well.

Alright let’s break this down.

There is no specific “Level” where you find Lapiz. The concentration of lapiz remains about the same from Y = 32 down. The evidence I have against you is logs of you breaking through multiple layers of stone DIRECTLY to lapis Lazuli. Straight down for a few blocks, then proceeding to take very specific paths to the ore.

Posting a photo of your mod folder is NOT evidence.
I'll quote Coaliz because he hit the nail on the head:

and posting a pic of your mods folder isn’t either, posting a pic or the folder showing the last modification made to it would be, granted you posted a pic of the mods inside and what time it was taken at as well.

Finding 2 1/2 stacks of diamonds at the bottom of a 15-15 circle hole is suspicious enough. I questioned the person who created said hole, he stated he didnt leave any diamonds behind in his digging. The two events happening in less than 10 mins of each other is hardly a coincidence.

--Denied until further notice--
Keeping the thread open to give you a chance to present evidence explicitly proving your innocence.

...Or you could literally just wait 3 days.

I agree. Just wait the three days, the ban isn't permanent from what I see PhayZr saying.

On the other end. I'd like to request a SS of your resource packs folder. XRay no longer is a mod, instead, its integrated into a resource pack and uses optifine to be able to run, so showing your mod folder is pointless.

Thanks.

EDIT: I'd also like to see the last date modified. It goes for the mods and resource packs folder.

I'm turning the ban permanent until the evidence I requested is provided. Thanks.
