[Pixelmon] Suggestions

Since I asked for suggestions on the original post, and got none, I'm going to ask again
I need suggestions for additional content to add to Pixel

Ideas:
  • Some perms changed
  • Banned items
  • rule clarification (in process)
  • Voting rewards

Suggestions will be taken into account, I need ideas, as I work full time and am a full time student (I have 2 weeks left this semester) so I am at work 40+ and have 14 hours of school (without studying) a week, So offer suggestions and I will act on them if they are good, toy with them if it's a good idea but difficult to implement, or if it's a plain ignorant suggestion, remove it. THANKS :)


ALSO WHY YOU'RE HERE, PLEASE, WE ARE IN NEED OF OUR PLAYER BASE TO APPLY FOR LEADER POSITIONS, SO WE HAVE THEM AVAILABLE WHEN GYMS OPEN APPLY HERE

Remove the spawning in of shrines, timespace altar, primal kyogre/groudon orbs (Just for it to be fair)

Remove the statue-making thingy cause it can cause lag.

That's being worked on, has it's own topic here

Remove the spawning in of shrines, timespace altar, primal kyogre/groudon orbs (Just for it to be fair)

Remove the statue-making thingy cause it can cause lag.
Those are also in the works of being banned (when I can find a plugin that actually works for black listing items.

A better of ev training. Warp ev or something. Safari and pool take too long to spawn tbh.
There isn't going to be an ev training warp, one thing I did notice on 3.5.1 (and before) were that people got their pokemon maxed out instantly. That wears on and people leave faster, the grind of the game is what got it so popular, there will just be the safari and the training pool at spawn.


I need more suggestions, as I do not/have not played pixelmon all day for the last 5+ years, the suggestions are what make the server better as well as active staff cough.

High level pokemon warp since the natural spawning pokemon average between level 10-50, rarely level 60-70 ones and palossand which is a level 99 and rare af.
Vote create with a vote create key and also daily/weekly/monthly crates.
The ability to be able to change your pokemons nature/ivs so you can actually start using the legendaries which atm can be outclassed by almost any perfect ivs pokemon because of their nature or ivs.
You can also make quest thingy which could be changed daily so people grind for reward example - Find a wild level 42 Kangaskhan and catch it.

Some of my ideas.

That's already easy enough, just look around for the poke's, plus, there's a 1/1000 a level 50 gyarados will spawn in the pool, >:), but yeah, most poke's are level 20+ in the wild, I got a level 100 in about 3 hours on the server (yes I actually got one to 100 without cheating to test it)

Factions Plug-in?

And also shops.
Why would we need factions? There's already GriefPrevention, and shops are in the works, I just have to figure out how to implement it, as there are no working GUI shops for sponge 7.x api, just a physical shop.

Custom item drops, not sure if that will work in sponge,
EV training has already been taken out, stop being lazy, everyone had max poke's within a week on the old server, and that takes the fun out of it.
The higher levels will be implemented in the safari when we get that
If you read my posts, you'd realize I can't do the keys. It does not work in sponge.
nature/ivs donate. That's a donator perk.
Pretty sure there aren't any working quest plugins for sponge, will check it out tho.

Before suggesting, please read the prior posts, a lot of these have been asked before (slightly differently worded) and answered. Also, stop comparing it to 3.5.1, we had spigot on that, spigot > sponge 99% of the concepts would have worked on that version, but do not anymore, as the support for sponge is very limited, and with the recent change from API 6.x to 7.x, most of the plugins stopped working and have not been updated yet.

why not set a part of the map as a "story" mode like in the games?

To me i dont think this is a great idea. Many people tend to find ways to skip certain parts of the story. Like say the story is based on Kanto. You get to Cerulean City and the first thing you did was battle the gym. But then instead of exploring you decide to skip an important part like the trainer bridge. Thats not fun tbh. But its up to coal
